It has almost been a year since you brought sweet Cookie to us. Just wanted to thank you again. We adore her and you can see she has become a lady of leisure. We also adopted a young retriever named Max from the NRH shelter and they have become great friends. In June, we found a little kitten in the woods and he has become the best pal of our old cat, Elly. Cookie must have had some experience with kittens because she sometimes grooms him. It turns out that Cookie had a low functioning thyroid! She takes pills now and seems to be fine.

Thank you again for all your work and for rescuing Cookie. She is a wonderful little dog.
