Rescue Stories: Ossowski Family & Hogan

It is hard to believe after adopting Hogan in October that he hasn't always been a part of our lives. Certainly the love and care received from his foster parent Suzie is a testament to the incredible work Metroport Humane Society does. Having been a rescue/somewhat abused dog we are daily learning new things about Hogan. In the beginning he was afraid of anything that had a handle, water bottles, the newspaper and would not go into our utility room or pantry. Thankfully that has come to pass and he now enjoys free reign of every part of our home. We have a ranch we go to on the week ends and Hogan has come to love roaming the acreage, and at times the alpha male rears its head when he is instructed to come inside and isn't quite ready. He loves to wear bandanas and go for rides in the car or truck. He also is very well aware now when a suitcase is out that for him it means "time to go bye bye".
We feel very blessed to have Hogan and our lives are enriched by him daily.

I have thought it might be fun to have a nanny-cam to see just when he decides to remove the pillows from the couch when we are gone.
Respectfully,
Bob and Marsha Ossowski
