It's
me - Lilly (aka Chelsea). I'm sending these pictures to you to
tell you Happy New Year. My family says to tell you hello for
them too. I love my family. It is my number one job to protect
them. I even wake them up at 2:00 am to tell them that the house
across the street is receiving late visitors or that someone
is toilet papering the neighbors trees. I know everything that
is going on from my watch poistion in the living room on the
comfy couch or my big pillow dog bed.
When I'm not guarding my family, I run every day with my mom.
I don't ever want to stop even if we have already gone a couple
of miles....sometimes she is ready to stop though. I go in the
car every chance I get. I don't like boys in the carpool, but
the girls are nice.
My favorite thing in the world is digging and keeping all birds
out of the trees and bushes in the backyard. I dig up things
that the dog who used to live in my house left behind. I love
to bring them in the house but, my mom thinks they are gross.
My Dad is going to make a small area in the yard that is just
for me to dig in. He says it will be Lilly's sand box. Did I
mention that I have to get my face and feet cleaned about 5 or
6 times a day....It is the digging thing. My mom says that It
is a good thing that I am so cute.
I absolutely love going to this place where I get to play with
all of my friends. Sometimes my mom drops me off there to play
while she runs errands. I get so excited. The nice ladies who
work there know me, and say that I'm a crazy girl because I just
play and wrestle until I'm so tired I can't even look out the
window on the way home. It is called fireplug inn....most of
the dogs there are smaller than I am. You have to be under 25
lbs. to go there and play....my mom says not to tell the nice
ladies that I'm almost that big. I'm still not very friendly
with dogs who are bigger than I am.....they are scary. I love
it when my grandma's dog comes to stay. I love it so much I get
so sad when she leaves. My mom says that we might think about
a friend to live with me in the Spring.
I hope all of your dog friends are
doing well too.
