Sassy is a 12-year-old cocker/retriever mix. Sassy's owners were scheduled to move out of the country and could not take her because the move would be too hard on her due to her age. She was listed on the MHS website and described as "gentle and loyal and affectionate, good watch dog, but also leads a quiet life."

Now, Sassy has taken her place as the perfect pet to live with residents of an assisted living facility, Sunrise Senior
Living in Fort Worth. It is a new center that has the goal of being more like a real home. Sassy is doing great and was checking out her new home and did not seem afraid or sad at all.
